M²T Structure and Relations with Industry

The Microwave Microsystems Technology Group of CNR is tightly connected with other CNR Groups involved in Research Activities on High Frequency (Microwave and Millimeter Wave) Materials and Devices as well as to researchers of the same Institute working on complementary aspects of this activity. The Group is composed by a Scientific Responsible, Associated Researchers and Technicians.

The mission of the Group is to cover all the aspects of the performed research activity, including Technology, Design and Test, with particular interest for the reliability of the developed devices and sub-systems.

Thanks to the share of different skills, many issues can be studied, and the topologies and related technological solutions are pursued with the help of analytical and simulation tools.

Contracts for external activities are usually managed directly by the Scientific Responsible of the Group, in agreement with the Director of the Institute. Presently, more than half of the full budget of the Institute comes directly from Contracts and/or International Agreements.
